Matthew Glavin

Claims to fame: President and CEO, Southeastern Legal Foundation; anti-gay crusader & prominent Clinton-impeachment campaigner; closet homo; hypocrite of the first water

Moral apex: Arrested twice for public indecency in well-known gay-cruise area of a Chattahoochee River trail area, once in 1996 (a no-contest plea got him six months’ probation and a $1,000 fine) and once in 2000.

Translation: He masturbated in front of an undercover federal agent, and tried to fondle the (male) officer.

Punch line: Southeastern Legal Foundation argued in support of the Boy Scouts of America’ anti-gay policy, led the charge to have President Clinton disbarred, and has fought to overturn Atlanta’s affirmative-action laws and the city’s domestic-partnership benefits plan.

Suggested Bible reading for Mr. Glavin:

And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

— Matthew 5:30
