Jon Matthews

Claims to fame: Conservative radio talk show host (Houston’s KSEV-AM 700); former Marine; child flasher

Moral apex: Exposed himself to 11-year-old neighbor girl who came to his house to play with his new puppy, then told her not to tell anyone.

But: She did.

The result: Convicted in 2004 on one count of indecency with a child.

The sentence: Seven years’ probation, 17 years’ registration as a sex offender, 160 hours’ community service, a $5,000 donation to Crime Stoppers, mandatory sex-offender counseling, and a letter of apology to his victim.

He also had to move out of his house, because Texas prohibits registered sex offenders from living within 1,000 feet of a school.

Suggested Bible reading for Mr. Matthews:

Thy nakedness shall be uncovered, yea, thy shame shall be seen: I will take vengeance, and I will not meet thee as a man.

— Isaiah 47:3
